Patricia Guillen is the Director of Instructional Services at the Maricopa Center for Learning and Innovation at Maricopa Community Colleges and an Adjunct Faculty with the University of Dubuque and Glendale Community College. Prior to that, she was the Dean of Curriculum for Business at a nonprofit career college where she redeveloped an Associate in Business degree program in a Guided Pathways model. Her career in higher education started right out of high school and has spanned over 30 years, mostly in for-profit and non-profit institutions, in student and academic affairs. Patricia has also been an adjunct faculty member teaching in business and general education for over 20 years.In her current role, she is charged with developing the framework for different pathways for adjunct faculty professional development. Patricia has a Master of Arts in Organizational Management and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration & Management and is A.B.D. (all but dissertation) for a Ph.D. in Education.
