Dr. Diane Chapman serves as the Executive Director & Associate Vice Provost for Faculty Development in the Office for Faculty Excellence at NC State University. She is also a Teaching Professor and advises students and teaches in the Community College Leadership EdD program. She is a previous recipient of the Gertrude Cox Award for Innovative Excellence in Teaching and Learning with Technology, and NC State’s Outstanding Teacher Award. Prior to coming to NC State, Dr. Chapman served as Coordinator of Online Instruction at the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Public Health. Her current research interests include the development of SoTL researchers, holistic faculty development, and evaluation of faculty development.
