I am the current Associate Director for the Center for Teaching Excellence and an Assistant Professor in the College of Business at Wilmington University in New Castle, DE. I have over 25 years of experience in the human resource field with expertise in all areas of human resource management, including employee relations, professional development, benefit administration, payroll related issues. Possess excellent organizational, communication, and technological skills. Previous member of the Faculty Writing Across the Curriculum Committee of the Faculty Senate, member of the ad-hoc faculty handbook committee of the Faculty Senate, created the online orientation program for new adjunct faculty, and assist in planning and organizing the Spring and Fall Faculty Development Day events. Successfully streamlined faculty personnel information to Banner (Student Information System) and transferred and entered development and training activities to an employee learning management system for department and personal tracking. Updated and published the online orientation with necessary information for faculty teaching at various locations. Completed Wilmington University’s Leadership program, serve as a mentor to new students via the President’s Mentoring Council, and completed the University’s Diversity Equity and Inclusion program (B.R.I.T.E. I.D.E.A.S.). I have over 10 years of teaching experience in the online, face-to-face, and hybrid course formats and developed three courses for delivery in the online course format. Serve as proposal reviewer for pod Network (Professional Organizational & Development Network). I also wanted to share that my degrees were all earned as a working adult, and have to propel my career path at Wilmington University.
